Snug as in cosy. Great little cocktail bar, with friendly staff. Started to get busy when shops closed. Happy hour, 2 for 1 cocktails until 7. Recommended.
Used to love this place and go most weekends for cocktails but the high turn over is staff means they are unsure how to make drinks, slow to serve. Often a 30 mins plus wait for a couple of drinks. Theres one guy who has been there the longest and seems offended when people dare to ask for a drink. Feels the need to comment on your choice and say how he hates making that. Not very welcoming. We go much less frequently now and keep fingers crossed well be pleasantly surprised.
Good cocktails, poor barman, no banter at all. Being a barman is more about having good people skills and building repore than making the drinks
Gone downhill recently. Last 2 visits they have been short of staff ( one person serving today 23/12/18). Average waiting time for a drink 45 mins. Not the fault of the bartender, but he was clearly inexperienced at customer service and how to function during busy times. Nice building etc and previously good staffing levels, so such a shame it's like this now .
Looks so lovely from the outside but the poor service especially from Jenna let a special evening out for my friends birthday down. Food all came at once which we weren't made aware of when we all ordered starters too. Food was clearly fresh but undercooked and greasy. Cocktails were great though but definitely over priced. We are in Aylesbury not central London. Would not recommend.
