Have been a casual cyclist for over 50 years and have a Giant step through bike (hips gave out 5 years ago so could not get my leg over, hence a step through) and a Montague folding full size mountain bike. Hips now both replaced so decided it was time to get a lighter and more appropriate bike. However, the choice is huge and sales hype confusing. I went to Chris at Spirit bikes and he was extremely knowledgable and helpful. He suggested a Merida Crossway. Ordered it with him, got it 2 days later and am really pleased with it. Took it out for its first 5 mile run today and it is much better than I expected. Runs really well, takes far less effort than any previous bike I have ridden. The gears are easy to use, covering a wide speed range and its off road capability is very good. So, in summary, Spirit Bikes and Chris have been really helpful and have got me back out on the road. I am very pleased - thanks very much.
Great Service, When I go to Spirit Bikes, no job is too small and Chris has always been very helpful. There is no other Bike shop only Spirit Bikes for my Bike issues
Bought my bike from there a year and a half ago and love it. Any maintenance that is required is always efficient and quick, wouldn't go anywhere else! Highly recommended.
